Tracy Adkins has been writing and journaling since she was knee-high to a June bug. She spent 17 years writing software instructions, but decidedly prefers to compose prose, poetry, screenplays, and historical books. She published Ghosts of Athens: History and Haunting of Athens, Georgia in 2016. Ghosts of Athens and Beyond: History and Haunting of North Georgia was released in 2022. In 2023, Ms. Adkins instituted the Amethyst Hawk Publishing imprint and published Ghosts of Asheville: History and Haunting of Asheville, North Carolina. All books are available on Amazon and in local Athens booksellers.
Also in 2023, Adkins served as the Production Manager for the first feature film shot at Athena Studios, American Deadbolt. She spends her days in Athens writing and spoiling her four cats.
